The DanTysk offshore wind farm, west of the Sylt island and directly at the Denmark border, belongs to the first large offshore wind farms being constructed in the German North Sea. Through the DanTysk wind farm the two power companies, Vattenfall and Stadtwerke München, are jointly giving their valuable contribution to the energy transition in Germany. With a total of 80 wind turbines DanTysk could soon power up to 400,000 households with green energy.
As installation vessels DanTysk is using the SEAFOX 5 as well as the PACIFIC OSPREY, which was newly christened in April this year.
